Seattle, WA – With the fanfare of an epic fireworks display over T-Mobile Park, The Foo Fighters brought their “Everything or Nothing at All” tour to a triumphant close on August 18th. The hometown heroes delivered a performance that won’t be forgotten, marking a memorable end to their extensive tour. Kicking off the night were show openers Alex G, followed by the perennial crowd-pleasing tunes of The Pretenders.

At 8PM on the dot, frontman Dave Grohl stormed onto the stage with his signature energy, launching into the electrifying opening riff of “All My Life.” The audience exploded with excitement as Grohl’s powerful vocals and the band’s tight performance set the tone for an unforgettable night. The song’s relentless pace and raw intensity perfectly captured the essence of the Foo Fighters, with Grohl’s commanding presence driving the crowd into a frenzy. It was a thrilling start to the concert, showcasing the band’s ability to connect with their fans and deliver a high-octane performance from the very first note.

Grohl continued on, keeping the crowd amped-up by integrating medleys of classic rock covers into the mix, including AC/DC’s Thunderstruck and Sabotage by The Beastie Boys. Pivoting back to fan-favorites from their own discography, they continued the show by toggling back and forth through their nearly thirty years of music. Ranging from debut album’s Big Me, all the way up to The Teacher on last year’s album But Here We Are, the Foo Fighters brought something for everyone.

The concert was not just a musical performance but a heartfelt tribute to the band’s late drummer, Taylor Hawkins. At previous tour stops, Grohl often paid homage to Hawkins by performing The Glass, a song he wrote in memory of his longtime friend. But this night, he shared that Aurora from their Nothing Left to Lose album was Hawkins’s favorite. As the song played out, the audience made their appreciation known with prolonged cheers and applause.

The emotional weight of the evening was balanced by the sheer joy and energy that the Foo Fighters brought to the stage as they delivered their highly anticipated encore. As the final chords of “Everlong” echoed through the stadium, the screeching and popping of fireworks both surprised and thrilled the fans. Grohl, filled with awe and gratitude, took a moment to thank the fans for their unwavering support over the years before departing the stage for the last time – bringing 18 months of touring to a close.

As if there were any likelihood that they could forget, The Foo Fighters reminded Seattle that they are legends in not just the local music history, but to Rock and Roll as a whole. The concert was a fitting end to an incredible tour and a celebration of a band that has continued to inspire and entertain fans for three decades.
