Tove Lo w/ Slayyyter
Paramount Theatre, Seattle, WA
02.23.23

On a cold Thursday night in February, Tove Lo took the stage at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, accompanied by an electrifying opening set by Slayyyter. The energy was palpable as the sold-out crowd eagerly awaited the arrival of the Swedish pop star.

The show kicked off with opening act Slayyyter, an up-and-coming electronic artist. As the lights dimmed, Slayyyter emerged, commanding the stage with their intense beats and ferocious vocals. The crowd was hooked from the first song, their enthusiasm building with each successive track. Dressed in a sultry business suit, Slayyyter’s raw energy and infectious enthusiasm set the perfect tone for the night’s main act.

When Tove Lo finally took the stage, the crowd erupted into a frenzy of cheers and applause. She came out in her iconic warrior outfit, recognizable from her album art and music videos. The singer started things off with the upbeat song “Pineapple Slice” from her new album “Dirt Femme”. The crowd sang along with every word, and Tove Lo fed off their energy, dancing and jumping around the stage with infectious enthusiasm.

Throughout the show, Tove Lo’s charismatic stage presence kept the audience engaged and entertained. She interacted with fans and shared personal moments. Tove Lo was so kind and genuine talking to the crowd. Asking in return only for the fans to dance and feel sexy for at least five songs.

After playing her new song “2 Die 4” Tove Lo ran off stage for a brief wardrobe change. She reappeared again looking every bit the pop star in a black bikini and mess jumpsuit. The audience erupted as she launched into one of her biggest hits “Taking Bodies”.

Tove Lo’s set was a perfect blend of her most well know songs and newer material, showcasing her versatility as an artist.  The crowd went wild as she performed fan favorites like “Cool Girl” and but also embraced newer tracks like “Grapefruit” and “Borderline”.

But it was Tove Lo’s emotional rendition of “Moments” that truly stood out as a highlight of the night. The stripped-down performance allowed her powerful vocals to shine, and the crowd swayed along in a moment of shared vulnerability.

As the concert drew to a close, Tove Lo closed with her smash hit “Habits (Stay High)” and new hit “No One Dies from Love” and the crowd erupted in a frenzy of dancing and singing. It was clear that Tove Lo had delivered an unforgettable performance that left fans feeling energized and satisfied.

Tove Lo’s concert at the Paramount Theatre was nothing short of spectacular.  With the dynamic opening set by Slayyyter and Tove Lo’s electrifying performance, the night was a celebration of powerful, empowering pop music. By nights end we were all feeling sexy way beyond the 5 songs asked by Tove Lo at the start of the night.
