Usually, a massive arena tour comes with massive staging, props, dancers, fuss. But not Post Malone. And that’s intentional. On his latest stop to Seattle, the singer/rapper took over Climate Pledge Arena in support of his June 2022 album Twelve Carat Toothache, with support from Roddy Ricch. Ricch opened the show with a short set, clean, no fuss. But the crowd was there for Post.

And he sure did deliver. Alone onstage for the night, with nary a prop in sight (minus the mic stand and acoustic guitar that occasionally came out of nowhere), Post ran through a 23-track setlist flush with hits both new and old. Throughout, the crowd sang along, threw him gifts that he’d try on onstage, and received plenty of handshakes and high fives. It was real, and raw, and as long as you weren’t expecting anything more than the man himself, you’d be a happy fan.
