She may already have four Juno awards and a grammy nod, but that’s certainly not slowing Canadian R&B singer-songwriter, Jessie Reyez’s pace. In fact, the artist — who’s toured with Billie Eilish and Halsey — is hot off the press with her September 2022 release Yessie. The sophomore album is really a bit of a first, though, given the March 2020 release of her debut, Before Love Came to Kill Us, which was overshadowed by a global pandemic. While this didn’t stop it from gaining critical acclaim, Reyez’s long-overdue time to shine is finally upon us.
On the new album, Reyez captures the uniqueness of the human experience in a way that’s relatable and raw, and she’s bringing that to stages everywhere now with a headline tour that stops by Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, October 30 with special guests: Armani White and SADBOI FKA EBHONI.
