Sinter, songwriter, prolific alt-rock poet, Tori Amos has been engaging audiences around the world since her seminal debut, Little Earthquakes, 30 years ago. In the years since the release of that now-classic album, Amos has continued to wield her acoustic piano and harpsichord with unparalleled electricity. Her frank writing is intimate, her melodies inventive, her voice powerful. And fans continue to flock to her shows in receipt of these gifts.
Now, after two years of turmoil gripped the globe, Amos returns to Seattle in support of her latest release, 2021’s Ocean to Ocean, her most personal work to date. In the face of the pandemic, Amos was able to channel emotional lows into creativity and passion, and the resulting work expresses kinship, love, loss, healing, empowerment, and timely environmental concerns with her trademark urgency.
