Local rock duo Dirty Dirty are set to release their debut EP, Deadline, June 3rd at High Dive. Based on the power of the title track’s fuzz-laden lead, it’s sure to be a hard driving night. It will actually be a double album release show as they share billing with Asterhouse and get an assist from Devils Hunt Me Down for a heavy hitting lineup.
Expect bassist/vocalist Ian Forrester and drummer Drew Shreve to turn up their dance-punk power, with distorted guitars and a deep, distinctive groove. While they may come off as a stripped-down pair, their sound is anything but. The duo show off progressive roots and psychedelic flair, garage punk influence and dance rhythms to make you move.
