Seattle does love its metal and when a package as diverse as this one comes to town you can see its drawing power. This all-ages show at Studio Seven is sold out, packed to the rafters. It’s awesome to see, as there is another great metal show playing across town.

The supporting bands, Hemlock, Incite, and Holy Grail all put on a great show for the excited crowd. However, make no mistake who everyone is here to see.

California groove metal is alive and well as Devil Driver are touring in support of their seventh studio album Trust No One, out May 13th. Opening with “End Of the Line,” the band is on fire tonight. Speaking with front man Dez Fafara before they hit the stage, he was so stoked to let everyone experience this new line up.

They certainly brought the fury and fire tonight through an unrelenting set of classics DD songs for the rabid crowd. Seattle way to represent tonight! You made the band proud!
