Nashville’s Anderson East is a hybrid of sorts with roots in delta blues and Wilson Pickett R&B soul. His voice has a dynamic range of back alley raw to tender and romantic, a trait that is certain to endear him to the crowds on his current Devil in Me tour that is sponsored by Paste Magazine, which includes a final stop at Kentucky’s Forecastle Music Festival. He is definitely a talent on the rise with his appearance on Late Night with Seth Myers and very positive reviews from NPR, Yahoo Music, and Daytrotter.
