Supporting her most recent (and Chris Walla-produced) release “Cool Choices” Jenn Ghetto of S will make an intimate appearance at Seattle’s Dragon Lounge next Tuesday. Sure she used to be in Carissa’s Weird, but frankly, after four solo albums, the unique beauty of this voice deserves full credit on its own. Her latest release, on which she finally turns S from a solo effort into a proper band, is devastating, genuine and full of indie pop heartbreak, with just a touch more catchiness than usual. Openers Pete Quirk (Cave Singers), Finch Wolfe and Corey J. Brewer will make this a $5 you won’t regret.
