The widely anticipated 11th installment of Decibel returns to Seattle beginning September 24th. The festival promises to be a true haven for electronic music enthusiasts of all camps. With a variety of offerings that have grown substantially over the years, Decibel has something to offer to everyone. Each day begins with a healthy dose of instruction relevant for musicians of all levels. Free conferences will be provided on a variety of topics including software and hardware, the science of visuals, and even the business of DJing. Then there is the main affair, the performances. A jam packed program of events promises epic doses of music from a vast array of genres; producers and DJs from all walks of life will perform. Names small and large sprinkle the schedule, revealing something of the egalitarian spirit electronic music aims to achieve. So take a look at the schedule of events and check out what there is to see and do. You won’t be able to attend everything, but Decibel surely won’t be an event to miss.
