Multiplatinum art rock band, Blue October, will hit the road embarking on a 38-city tour in support of their forthcoming album, Any Man In America, set for release on August 16th through singer Justin Furstenfeld’s own Up/Down Records through RED Music/Sony Distribution.  The tour will kick off in Dallas on August 17th and run through the end of October with stops in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle and Las Vegas among others.  Justin and Blue October have also teamed up with the American Coalition for Father’s and Children and will be bringing representatives from this important cause on the road with them to educate fans about Family Breakdown, Divorce and Emotional Child Support.

Any Man In America is the follow up to 2009’s Approaching Normal and is the 7th studio album in Blue October’s 16-year history. The album takes the listener on a cathartic journey chronicling the deeply personal events that have unfolded in singer Justin Furstenfeld’s life since the band’s last release. The album was produced by Furstenfeld, who also produced the band’s platinum album, Foiled, together with Tim Palmer who has produced and mixed for the likes of Robert Plant, Pearl Jam and U2.  ARTISTDirect raved about the album calling it “A poignant, poetic, and powerful masterpiece, Any Man In America will tug on your heartstrings and touch your very soul. There’s nothing sweeter than that…”
