The Rocket Summer had to be one of my favorite bands that played the Warped Tour this year. Part of that reason must have been that the first three songs they played just happened to be my top three favorite songs. They opened with Hills and Valleys, played Do You Feel second, and finished with (when I say finish I mean finished for me because photogs are only aloud to shoot for the first three songs then they have to leave the photos pit) I Need a Break…But I’d Rather Have a Break Through. All together The Rocket Summer put on a great show for everyone. Here are a few of my photos of their set at Warped Tour 2010 in Hillsboro Oregon.

Oh and this set was especially awesome because before The Rocket Summer started I met my favorite photographer Jered Scott, and got to talk with him before the show began. He was traveling with The Rocket Summer and photographing their journey on the tour. It was one of the most amazing parts of Warped Tour for me to be able to meet the person that inspired everything I do with photography. If you have never seen Jered Scott’s work before check it out here.

Which band from Warped Tour will I post next? Check out my facebook fan page, here, to get a clue.
